Introduction to School of Tourism at Ming Chuan University
The School of Tourism instructs students in the fields of tourism, leisure and recreation, and hospitality management so as to better serve the industry, our country and the world in the 21st century. Besides academic lecturing, we also stress on students’ responsibility, team work, high ethical standards and global view in their lives.
So as to broaden their international view and increase their foreign language ability and practical training, students are required to complete 400 hours of internship before graduation.
Nine Focused Course Programs have been established to provide students with cross-disciplinary or integrated learning to promote their competitiveness in the marketplace, including: Travel Agency Management, Tour Conducting, Tourism Marketing Communication,Leisure and Recreation, Recreation Activities, Environmental Educator, Lodging Operating Management ,Foodservice Operations Management, and Bakery Operations Management.
